MIRIAM WILSON, WARRIOR WITH A PURPOSE
Some warriors wield swords. Others, like Miriam Wilson, fight battles armed with faith, resilience, and sheer willpower. Her story is not just one of survival—it is one of triumph. She has been in the trenches, faced the storms, and emerged stronger, proving that strength is not found in avoiding hardship but in enduring, overcoming, and rising.

Miriam’s journey began with a bold leap of faith. She left behind a job she loved to pursue her dream of launching her own business. But before she could even gain her footing, life threw an unimaginable challenge her way—a devastating tragedy. Less than a year after starting her business, she lost her husband, her teenage sweetheart, her best friend to gun violence. His life was taken and hers was shattered. Grief threatened to consume her, and the weight of responsibility pressed hard against her.

There were moments when quitting seemed easier. Mornings were heavy, the simplest tasks felt impossible. She describes the feeling as "trying to move a nail out of a cement block." But giving up was never an option—not when her daughter and grandson depended on her. Not when her vision had only just begun to take shape. Not when the spirit within her refused to stay down.
So, she fought through. Anchored in faith and with the support of her friends and family, she endured. Business was slow, finances were uncertain, and the burden was immense—but she pressed on. Through persistence and determination, she turned loss into fuel, grief into motivation, and setbacks into stepping stones.

Today, MWilson Accounting and Bookkeeping, LLC stands as a testament to hard work, perseverance, and grit.
Miriam is more than a businesswoman. She is a warrior. Her strength, her values, and her unwavering faith make her a beacon of hope for women navigating their own struggles. She is living proof that when life knocks you down, faith lifts you up, determination carries you forward, and perseverance writes your victory. She is, without question, a A WARRIOR WOMAN!

ACCEPTING LOST
Accepting loss is a deeply personal journey, and it unfolds differently for everyone. Here are some key steps that can help navigate the process:
-
Acknowledge Your Feelings – Grief can bring a mix of emotions, including sadness, anger, and even numbness. Allow yourself to feel without judgment.
-
Cast all your Cares Upon Yahweh: Seek help from your heavenly Father for he cares for you. (I Peter 5:7)
-
Seek Support – Connecting with loved ones, support groups, counseling, your Pastor may also provide comfort and perspective. You may need a little time alone, but be careful to allow the right people to pour into you.
-
Practice Self-Compassion – Be patient with yourself. Healing takes time, and there’s no "right" way to grieve.
-
Find Meaning in the Loss – Reflecting on lessons learned or honoring the memory of what was lost can help bring a sense of purpose.
-
Embrace Change – Loss often reshapes our lives. Accepting that things may never be the same can open the door to new beginnings.
Grief is not about forgetting but about learning to live with the absence while still moving forward.
